1997: Embraced the web with an internet only release of Telling Lies in 1996 and launched his own internet provider called Bowienet.
Voice of Lord Royal Highness in SpongeBob SquarePants in 2007.
Has declined both a knighthood and CBE.
It is estimated that he has sold around 140 million albums over his career
